I was kinda disappointed that I got 2000 and I just bought mine... this month. i7 with 8gigs of ram. 1024mb graphics card, but it is an Nvidia GTS which I think stands for Nvidia gimp; guess I'll have to upgrade that. It's kinda redonkulous what you need to get to play this game on PC, but I suppose I wouldn't ask for anything less.

Ah yeah, I just got a beta invite from the BG drawing. Thinking of going with buddies to the Kefka server if anyone else wants to come along.

Was that on Low-def or High-def, Shamaya?

Anyways, the graphics card is really what's most important.
With Quad-Core 2.40GHz, 4GB RAM and GeForce GTX 260 896MB, I got 3500 on Low; 2500ish on High.

If you get the same graphics card I use, you'll probably get around 4000ish on Low.

I think I was somwhere in the middle 2ks and my graphics card is GTX 270. My cpu is garbage though

Yeah it has to be the video card. I'm running an i7-930 (2.8ghz) with 6gb of memory & GTX 465 video card with 1gb. Also have an Intel X-25M SSD for my main drive (which FFXIV is also installed on) which probably makes a difference. My score on high def was 3000 with that setup.

P.S. I'm on Garland, but if I ever bother to log in to that mess of a game again, I might stop by Kefka and say hello.

Yeah I was high res. I'll have to get me a GTX but I imagine I won't buy one till next year. But I can survive w/ a 2k bench for now.
Edit: There is no more Kefka server now so errbody is heading to **Besaid.

I scored a 2400 in low res with my new rig. In the Beta my game would freeze then go into negative colors (best way i can think to describe it). However that only happened -every so often- and ONLY on the gridania area.

4gb(2x2 ram)
Nvdia graphics card.. (forget type atm)
Quad Core processor.

Just a heads up for anyone who may buy a new rig or make a new rig. Might want to go a little higher then me. Other then that game runs with no lag =D
