True, but the DA rate is much much higher than wargfangs, still worth it, imo.

The higher base damage won't matter with footwork, and the OA2-3 have much higher proc rate for double attack, would still beat those for footwork.

I would say the higher dmg path is better for multi-purpose usage both with and without footwork up. While the low dmg path is better for strictly using footwork, and it's also very nice for skilling up without footwork up hehe (lower dmg, more hits).

I capped skill levels from 77-80 in roughly 25 minutes in abyssea.

For anyone going for verth though, you're better off w/ it and 2-3 times for footwork. The DMG+ ones at occ attack twice is going to be much worse in the footwork build (DA rate is much lower than the 2-3 times) and for h2h build, beats verth (barely) and even only beats the STR/attack tapian fangs by 0.54%, according to Kinematic's of alla's math, while feeding tons more of tp.

For this http://wiki.ffxiclop...wiki/Trial_1180
Wheres the best place for doomed mobs? I looked them up on wiki, ANd the only places theres tons are jnuns 72-74 76-77 In the mire.
Or doomed toads 79-81 in den of rancor.
Now signet works in normal areas, But does sanction work the same way in TOAU?
I have to get 250 defense down procs to complete this trial. Where should i go.

Sanction is nothing remotely like Sigil/Signet in terms of solo utility.

Jnuns are probably your only reasonable option unless you want to spend a lot of time feeling bored in Labyrinth of Onzozo. They shouldn't be too hard at level 80, but having a mage around would help.

I See. Thanks for the input, But LoO? theres only 2 spawns there Unless you misquoted me on den of rancor, which has 9.

It's been a long time since I was in the basement of Den of Rancor, but I seem to recall it being an unholy pain in the ass as far as aggro is concerned. Considering how inutterably shitty the proc rate on H2H added effect weapons apparently is, I really can't fathom why you'd pursue that path, but find some Doomed and smack them until you're done. At least you don't need to wait for X day or Y weather.

Its got one more damage than my mantis, and while the effect might not occur that often, 15% defense down is pretty massive. I expect with the next level cap this weapon will go to +25 and 20% defense or something similar

The only thing likely to increase on these is base damage. A 25% proc rate on -20% defense with how fast MNK swings would be ridiculous; essentially making us as powerful a buffer as a COR with some of the best damage in the game.

Even a 15% proc rate is enough to get it to reliably proc for a useful amount of time on any mob that lives more than 30 seconds. Whether or not it makes them better than other weapons is another question, because it really depends on what kind of buffs you normally get, how available poise shoes are to you and a bunch of other things.

On a side note, you should really work on OA3 claws. If you're doing these ones instead of those, it's really your best bet to finish up whatever trial you're on and get to work on OA3 as fast as possible.

I have them partially completed, Up to the Puks, But right now im just being lazy and working on these. Not likely to get poishe shoes any time soon since my LS is less than 5 people atm...

I have a friend that has the completed version of these and he says the proc rate is 29%. Thats pretty ridiculous. Im not sure if he parsed it or eyeballed it though.

NM is possibly manageable with 5 people with the correct jobs, but you won't have any TH so it's hardly worth going really.
