Hmm, I don't think I quite see what you are getting at. Address it as in Campaign is easier now with the newer caps? Also I assume you are referring to the
weapons you can buy with Allied notes (Griffinclaw, Lex Talionis..). Why make them useless?

If anything I enjoy campaign even more now because I feel more like the NPC heroes that help out from time to time. I was able to tank 5~6 normal campaign beastmen at the same time
with my Drg/Blu at lvl 80 and deal a bunch of dmg to each of them with Sonic Thrust. I was also able to do that to a lesser extent (around 3 mobs) with Blu/Dnc at 76 with Griffenclaw's Uriel Blade.
One of the coolest things I've done (completely unplanned really), I was in pashhow and we had like 6 quadav near the fort; a Rdm was using Uriel Blade, a Blu Glory Slash, and me Sonic Thrust
all on these quadav. So we had a nice flow of Stun, Flash, and DMG on all these mobs at once. It's also pretty neat to be able to go toe to toe with some campaign NM that I use to try and avoid
since they would normally smash my face in. <.<;

I'm not opposed to SE adding mobs that can give people lvl 80+ a challenge like we use to have at 75, but I still don't see why they should make the weapons useless.

EDIT: I've read your post like 20 times trying to decode what you mean... are you saying the level cap made the weapons useless lol? If so the example I give with me, the rdm and blu should prove otherwise.

Yeah, if anything, it gives soloing people a way to hold off an entire wave of monsters and only leaving the boss monster for us to play with. I was in beaucedine and this pld just parked himself on the ramp and tanked an entire wave of yagudo including their boss. Once we started feeding tp to the boss and minions, that pld finally ran back to the fort so the people that waited could finally get some action. I don't know how many times the birds did their disarm or stun moves on him, but he had it coming.
