that link thing you posted does nothing btw.

But really what you are asking is a funny question. The specifications to get FFXIV running at maximum capacity appear to be currently out of range of the player base. Basically what I suspect they did was make the specs incredibly high so that in the future the game isnt obsolebte and can be upgraded to better newer technologies. Based on the beta scores people have made it seems nigh impossible with current hardware.

Needless to say the specs are incredibly high. (based on the score of peoples benchmarks) The required specs are:

(these are subject to change before release)

Id aim for as higher than this if I was going to make a computer built for 14.

Unfortunately the line of CPUs or video cards wont be changing much in the next few months, but from what i saw of the benchmarks the CPU speed is much more important than the video card. A moderately priced Core i5 with a midrange ATI 5xxx is more than enough to play the game. That being said, if you want a score of 5000 on high res, then your looking at top of the line stuff that will set you back at least 1.2+k.

Anyways, with a $600 PC or so you should be able to play it well (assuming it doesn't have intel graphics).
