Since jobs are already acessing pro V and soon shell V I came up with an idea to contue to make the shell and pro merits useful.

SE should just give protectra V and shellra V as actaull spells for a 75 whm and change the merits to "protect potency increase XXX, shell potency increase XXX.

lest in this way they can give out new spells and still make those merits useful, you really think we should be stuck on shell and protect V at 99?

Don't give a damn about Protectra V and White Mage already has merits for a super-powered Shellra V that blows Shell V out of the water.

Both Protect V and Shell V are very weak. They have the same potency of Protectra V and Shellra V with 1 point in them. This pretty much means that they have no intention to ever add a new tier for these spells on the way to 99.

I'm kind of hoping they add another shell (that beats out fully merited shellra V) so I can drop the shell merits. D:

there is actally nothing note worthy to merit, the only thing this changes is thati can go whm/sch aoe protect V and have 5/5 devotion.

but i am waiting to see if they change merits for 75 when they add 99 to see if anything changes before actally droping merits since i wount be meriting for a while.

right now i have about 4 milllion total exp to gain just based on getting 80.

with that i am not deleating exp till the i hit the point i can not gain anymore ( unlikely)

i would advice everyone not to change merits or delete merits unless you have nothing else to do.
