First I'd like to say Hello to those who know me or have heard of me,
it's been soo long since I've played, yet from time to time I'd still pop in here to see familiar names still play.

on that note FFXIV is coming soon which I'm sure EVERYONE is aware of, I'd like to take the time and opportunity to first bury the hatchet sort to speak with friends and foes alike, rally up the people who are wanting to play FFXIV from Odin, and eventually migrate.

I know it's a little early to speculate what the servers will be called, I hope to god they just keep them the same but SE usually doesn't keep things the same

so on that note, old schooler's and newbies alike, friends and enemy's, lets get together and plan this out!

With all due respect sir. Only you are responsible for the game "enslaving" you. Yes the game might suck who knows (though personally I think it rocks, but I hate SE's customer service with a passion) if you're into online gaming/rpg, then you'll find in this game a very entertaining way to socialize. You know....I went to a Link Shell reunion and got together with in game buddies in real life, and even got laid lol with one of the girls. Either way, to not get off topic, one must be wise on how to manage the time you spend playing and wtf cares if you got the best gear as long as you're having fun and hang out with ppl who aren't fucking obsessed nazis of the game who's goals are just to degrade the low level players by showing off and picking on them, just stay away from those ppl and play with the healthy part of the game's community. Is just THAT simple.

And so far it really doesn't look like I'll play it. Friend in the beta hasn't had many good things to say yet. We'll see if it polishes up though.

Ive been pretty good mach! Just been working my ass off, trying to pay off my credit cards, before I move to CA next year.

I quit playing early last year. I logged on one day, and it said there was something wrong with my card for payment, and I just said "oh well" and never logged back on.

I said I would only do the beta, just cause it better be really good for me to pay for. Money is super tight right now. My house payment went from $541/mo to $940/mo because my property taxes tripled, since the state HATES me. But I got into the BETA, so Ill be playing around on there, and seeing how I like it.

Just tune it all out, make your own opinions on the game and don't let anyone sway you til you give it a go. Besides, the retail version is likely going to be noticeably better than the beta so there's not too much to worry about.

My god you must have the most attractive personality in real life. I imagine people saying things like, "Oh no, why isn't he/she here? Now the party is ruined!" quite often.


I was getting ready to buy a PS3 to play but it looks like I'll have to spend $1500 on a computer system to get in at the same time as everyone else. (Mirra, have babies, you never have to pay taxes again, they pay you!)


Anyway I'm thrilled for this, can't wait. I'll be back as a Lalla'Fell (or whatever the fuck Taru's are) Conjurer fishing my ass off for the first 2 months of release.
