I don't hate holidays, i hate what people do on them.

people bitching about wait lines when buying their turkeys on the morning of thanksgiving day is facepalm.

same thing is Christmas eve and gift shopping or Christmas day morning for the few stores that do that.

oh and fighing your 70 year old gradmam over who cuts the birthday cake, that leads to a fight of stabbing her because she wanted to cut it.

then claiming she fell on the knife.... twice............

people i fucking swear.

Trafalgar Day is one of the few holidays I approve of. There should be more celebrations of French defeat, we'd never have to work and could spend more time on the important things in life. Like laughing at the French.

Urgh don't remind me of Christmas shopping. When I was doing seasonal work one year I had some prick chewed my ass out for not having a check out opened and asked why I wasn't on it even though I told him I was on janitoral shift. Since you know... the cleaning supplies I had wasn't a dead giveaway.

I was unaware the French have ever been defeated. Unless you count running into battle in the wrong direction a defeat.

Think of the Xbox as Germans or little girls.

Or Muslims.

Actually, if 360 = Muslims, then that pic would apply to Great Britain as well as France.

I finally found out where the AUX hook up for the PA system at work is. During the last few weeks, I was sorely tempted to plug in my iPod and play Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics, full blast, repeat, and on shuffle. Shoppers who don't work retail have no fucking clue how lucky they are that they don't have to hear the goddamned faggotry that is called Christmas music for eight hours straight.

And Elvis Christmas Duets? It's a fucking sacrilege.

I like the holidays that gives me a day off work.

Fat Tuesday is awesome. :D

FIFY

I don't even go to Mardi Gras anymore, just the bars right outside of downtown so the prices are cheaper. But man do I love getting out of work/college for it.
