anyway just looking for a little info from the rng guru's. Friend picked up a Siege Bow last night in abyssea.

Dmg83 dly 540 str +3, rapid shot +5, enmity -5

I'm thinking that the base dmg alone blows ebow away. Thoughts? Again i'm sorry if this is an obvious question but I'm just looking for some numbers/info/insights. He's a chickenshit and won't post on ki lol

so you asking + 12 dmg vs +25 ranges attack

(d+12+ (f)STR)*(f)(att/def) vs (d+ (f)STR)*(f)(att+25/def)

let jusy say a def 400 mob the v/s bow will have an inc of .0625 that might be a equivalent of about 4 more dmg
if the mob has 100 def it be about 17 dmg if you didn't go over cap. so with mobs def 147 and lower v/s might do more dmg IFF you dont hit the cap. the effect of attck is going to be less and less as we fight stronger def mobs

most mobs we are fighting 75+ are over 300 def

as a side note (f)str of the new bow is rank 9 (7for the e/v bow) raisint its cap +4 (30 to 34) this dosnt reale mater but now you can stack more str with out thinking about the cap
