Since I've been given more time off of work the last few weeks, I've found myself playing Diablo II and lurking KI very often, while the FFXIV Beta icon has sat, untouched, on my desktop. (I've got enough free time that I actually reactivated my FFXI account yesterday, but now I'm having tech issues that I'm hoping will be fixed by a new motherboard and Windows 7 early next week.)

Speakin' o' which, anyone know why Spellcast 2.3 would crash the FFXI client upon loading (not upon loading an XML file, or for the resource file crashes people have been having after the update)? '

Just did a fresh install of FFXI to try and fix it, and now POL is crashing before it even gets to the login screen. I blame Steam.
