lol actually i met one of my Ex's on XI we ended up being together for 3 yrs then it ended, then i went back to playing XI full time well besides school and what not lol

I've found that ignoring a girl for a game, makes her get down on her knees for you to try and get attention...it's sort of like a dog, you don't pay attention to it, and it starts whining and licking you, trying to get your attention.

Oh God. This takes me back haha. 6th grade I had the biggest crush on this girl Shadowkat from Phoenix server I think (if you read this, you should totally message me!). And I like fell in loveeee. Like her name was on every single notebook I had for school, with hearts with staves piercing through them (we both played as WHM together). And all was going well for like 5 months. And then I find out she's getting married to some Elvaan douche. Then when I tried explaining to my friends that she was getting married they were all like "wait, so she's old?" None of my real friends understood the concept of getting married in game, so I had no one to talk to. 6th grade was a rough year.

Anywho, I ended up telling her the whole dealio and made sure she felt EXTRA guilty. We stayed friends for awhile afterwards but we've lost touch since. She was such a nice friend though

once upon a time..
in final fantasy xi..around 5 years ago, i was roughly in 8th grade, i'm 19 & in college now
the shiva server kept getting spammed about a HUGE party going down in Port Bastok on xx/xx/xx dates, talking about fireworks & slaved mithras, and winning prizes.
so naturally i logged in that day, made my way to Port Bastok to check out this extravaganza!
& it was awesome, simply put, probably some of the most FUN i have ever had in the game!
i don't know how they did it, but they had around 30 mithra's all dancing almost identically, the games were so much fun too!
i believe i won 20k & a piece of armor, and some fireworks to shoot off
the guy running the spent, me & him had some words, he told me we was spending roughly 3m in fireworks to sponsor this event, that it was a going away thing, & he wanted something to remember.
upon the ending of the event, the mithras walked in a line, posing and such, and all the guys or girls could bet on any mithra they wanted, they were being auctioned, highest bidder got a date with the mithra

well i thought this chick was pretty cool, we had talked a bit before she started her walk off, so i bet my bids pretty high on her, & some BASTARD kept trying to beat me, but i finally won! hahaaa 50k+ i believe it was XD
so me and her made our way off to the light house & we talked for a while, and eventually i took her to the beach, & some other really nice places in the game!
we became really good friends from then on, kept in touch in-game everyday for about 2 years, then not too much to tell from there on, i quit for a while, came back she was no where to be found.

I was not IN LOVE or anything with this chick, i had real life girlfriends on and off, it was just a really cool different way to have a good time in a game
i was all about laughter, adventuring, haveing a amazing time in XI,
then i got serious with it, started running linkshell's, became one of the best Dragoons & Ranger & Thief (DRG main) on the server, & did nothing but grind grind grind, want the best, have the best teammates, always rushing to succeed & get everyone what they wanted..
the game eventually grew old, and i quit on and off my last 2 years of highschool.

i really hope 14 gives me back my laughter, and adventure!
