Um... anyhow...

I'm debating whether I'll finish Samurai up to 80 or not. I probably will eventually. When I do, I'll most likely work on the Store TP Great Katana. It makes gearing a little bit more flexible and it's quite easy to complete. If you want to go for the best option outside of Amanomurakumo and Masamune, since both are stupidly difficult, the high damage Occasionally Attacks Twice weapon (the upgraded Kurodachi, I can't remember what its level 80 name is) is tops. I dunno how reasonable it is to complete, though, since you need a bunch of drops from Abyssea NMs. The Store TP option is at least a fast and easy stopgap in the meantime.

Also, please note that SE decided not to cater to most jobs' B weapons (by which I mean their non-primary), so if you want to use Polearm, you're stuck with Tomoe until the next version update at minimum. Kinda irritating, but I think Samurai is the only job that really used its non-primary option with any regularity, so they're the only ones getting hit by this.

I think it was mostly the dual wield that caught their eyes. 80% of the DNC I've seen don't even have merits for the job. Or they have merits, but don't know how to gear... like Mirke with Acc/Evasion augments, Anwig Salade with Acc/Evasion, and the ASA pants with Haste/Evasion...

Hey! Before these new items came out I took pride in my EVA/haste asa pants for solo. My dnc had a beastly evasion set and will once again. It's more to me a "get shit done by myself so I don't have to rely on incompetent people" job.

Anyway, I'm liking the looks of the new belt with haste and STP on it which is why I want a Masamune. 6 hit with a better Haste set is mindblowing for me since Skirmish Pephredo doesn't like me. All topped off with a high damage GKT.

because that is super bad solo? but ya in any party setting you dont ned evade but my tak on that is people did that for soloing due to lack of invites

The reason it's retarded to get Accuracy/Evasion on a Mirke is because of Scorpion Harness and, nowadays, Aurore Doublet. Ditto Anwig Salade and Optical Hat. Try to keep up, Rambus.

trying to learn what 19 jobs should now be using for 5+ gear sets is a bit hard to learn in 2 -4 weeks or w/e this shits been out

and i know nothing of the other mins I am not paying money for stuff like that.

all i know there was once a time where this 78 did not exist and that is prob why the people did those that way.

What the hell does level 78 have a diseased monkey's testicle to do with a level 57 body piece and a level 70 hat? Anyone paying 20 real life dollars to imitate items that can be acquired in an afternoon and that will necessarily exclude you from far better uses of that $20 investment is a moron.

what are you talking about? where do you get 7 evade on pants? where can you get i dont remeber agi and 10 evade

i dont know or remember the exact stats of those things but if you want the best evade possible it would to be to put evade on them.

you are also assuming X person is able to solo it or can get help, not is not the case with everyone.

I think you lack the ability to see all seniors in what someone may go though and think your specific one is what people go though.

also antress harness or the mike with evade on it is best, not SH ( again i dont know the base stats off top my head) also it may tie SH+1 but i am not sure if it is 2 agi= 1 evade or if that is assumed or what not.

Optical Hat, Scorpion Harness. Why waste your augments on that? Especially since the person has PUP MNK THF etc. jobs leveled.

Edit: They also have RNG leveled. And Raven Hose is 6 evasion on the pants. The fact they use all 3 of these shitty items on each of their listed jobs in their bazaar, because I have seen them do it, and the fact they don't gear swap at all, is why they're stupid as shit. I can show you the person that comes to mind next time we're both online, Rambus.

if the body and the head does not go over 10 evade + agi then ingore this but an evade profectist would get them because it is better then SH or O hat ( dont forget about antares harness ether)

It's .5 evade more on the body when you count the AGI. And the helm is the same evade as a optical hat.
