Now here is something interesting here, the creators of FFIV: After Years are making a Final Fantasy game for mobile phones that is trying to bring the 16-bit era back. It looks interesting, I would love to see some concept art, and a lot of the graphical designs seem to be using FFIV and FFV's setup. From what I hear, the prologue is free and costs a few dollars to get each chapter. So the game is going to be seperated like After Years. I was not a big fan of that type of setup, but its ok I guess.

I think it is only a coincidence it is called FF Legends and has no affiliation with the GameBoy ones (even though they were technically SaGa games). But i'll be able to better voice my opinion once I get more information on this.

To be honest, I stopped reading after that. All of them should be tried for crimes against humanity.

I hate when a sequel contains nearly exactly all the same events re-happening. Barely anything new happened.

This damn well better come as DLC as well.

Also why do we need to revive the 16 bit era by phones? PSN/WiiWare anyone?

Kinda reminds me of when I started watching FMA: Brotherhood.. I was excepting the saga to continue after the events that occurred at the end of the first FMA series, but the first 13 episodes or so just seemed like a recap before they got into anything "new", and even then it was just a rehashed story with a few new chars and old ones swapping places. I was a little disappointed. :/

Pretty much like Dyire said. The original FMA was faithful to the start of the manga however it went in it's own direction that wasn't the same as the manga. After the manga was reaching it's end they made the FMA: Brotherhood anime that's 100% faithful to the manga.

What I say isn't absolute, but I can almost guarantee this will be a WiiWare download. This seems to be going down the same road as After Years. Mobile phone downloads for Japan, then a couple months later they will announce it for WiiWare in America. Unless iphones come into play here.

I hope so. I never understood why anyone needs games on a cellphone.

Better screenshot of the job system:

Kind of disappointed in the sprites being recycled from FF5 though.

Its a mobile phone game, I am not expecting gold out of it. Not even a top notch story at that. If it is entertaining though it will be worth it.

I never liked mobile phone gaming. The game looks pretty cool though, and the job system just shouts FFV which I loved. So it definitely looks pretty cool!
I just hope this game comes to some other platform or whatever you call it, 'cause I hate mobile phone gaming lol
