The cowboy looks nifty. I won't be getting it though, I have lost my will to play fighting games lately, maybe Marvel vs. Capcom 3 might bring it back.

Yeah, I'll be playing the hell out of this. Was bummed Noel's endless 6C -> throw cancel loop was nerfed, but I expected it. Now if only that Tekken x Street Fighter crossover would come out faster, and Actress Again gets a PC port, I'd probably have a fucking conniption out of pure FIGHTAN GAEM happiness.

Been playing it for months, game is much smoother than CT. Also, they're planning 4(?) DLC characters. I forget the names.

Edit:

Makoto, Noel/Jin/Carl's squirrel friend from the academy is the currently only "confirmed" DLC character, releasing august 5th. She's described as "hyper aggressive", even moreso than current rushdown characters like Taokaka and Ragna. She fights with Tonfa, has the shortest range in the game, and her drive allows her to augment her attacks to be faster, stronger, cancelable, and even some to be unblockable.

Valkenheim, Rachel's butler and one of the legendary heros is currently a "speculated" character. Aksys refuses to comment whether he will or will not be a character, and many assume he will be.

Platinum the Trilogy is a young girl with 3 different personalities; a shy young girl, a dark young boy, and Platinum, one of the original heros. She's included in the story mode and is assumed to be a possible DLC.

That's all I can find information for.


Of course, there's Mu, a perfectly awoken Noel, who is only for the console version.

Found more info. Platinum's character files have been found in the game's data (artwork and battle music), Nu (v-13 version) is a possible DLC, as well as Valkenheim's files.

@Geothermal At least Noel still has some crazy looking Chain Revolver combos now and much easier Haida Loop combos



I'm not really into 3D Fighters, so I, personally, am looking forward to Street Fighter x Tekken rather hehe Though I'm hoping for that Melty Blood: Actress Again to have a PC Port with Netplay

@Kleiner Nu(v-13 version) is just going to be Lambda's Unlimited version.

Unlimited Hazama makes me rage like a motherfucker, and I liked the character art of Calamity Trigger more, but other than those small things, I'm impressed.

I like that they put more story in the story mode.

Huh, there's a place that will do custom art for your stick? I've been modding the hell out of my Hori Pro 3 with Seimitsu parts, but the bland color still needs an overhaul.

Do you know how much they charge, or is it circumstantial?

Geo, dear friend, you're misunderstanding. Art can be printed out at any kinko's (just get lamilabel, and put it over the top of whatever you got, it'll work passably)
What we at Foe Hammer sell is full, custom cases with support for PS3 and 360, or even more consoles if the price is right. Art is just one part of it.

I don't need to currently mod parts on my TE, since I haven't really looked into it, nor am I interested in buying a completely new arcade stick. I am more interested into dual modding my PS3 TE so it can be played on the 360.

From speculation, if you don't find them funny, like firefeng, you're being pretty uptight or you do not know much about the game to understand yet and are not that interested to know.

In all honesty, the only thing about Tao that got nerfed was her HP. She's moved up pretty far in tiers.

Most of her old combos no longer work due to the Cat Spirit 2 change, so we have to change up and rely on newer, more difficult ones, but overall, her damage output has increased significantly.
