FFXIV HD TV Specs Trying to find a good HDTV for FFXIV(PS3)

I just have a question can you really tell the difference between 720p and 1080p for a 32 inch LCD? Also same question for the refresh rate 120hz and 60hz? If not think these two LCDs will do the trick? http://www.tigerdire...7595&CatId=3649 http://www.tigerdire...7035&CatId=3649 Last question will the PS3 ruin the tv in the future?

Really unless you are a big tech wizard, you won't be able to tell the difference between the two unless you really look. Just try to find an HDTV your wallet can handle. If your other PS3 games look fine, then FFXIV will look fine, most PS3 games are in 720p anyways.
EDIT: I use a 37" Vizio HDTV and it has served me well for a long time, it is nice and cheap and my games look great on it.

spot on with that comment there. i work with an HDTV provider, and even though people say they see the difference between an HDMI cable and component cabling, to the naked eye you really cant. it all depends on what its displayed in. higher the resolution of the camera that recorded it, or programming software that created it, the better it will look on a tv that is capable.
i bouht a samsung 52" for only 1200$, flatscreen with 1080p, i have certain components with hdmi cables, others with component, just get a decent tv that wont break the budget like Velhart said.

Ok thanks last question will my PS3 might ruin the tv in the future? I was informed that if I don't see anti burn or pixel shift it might? So I was looking for some info in the specs but couldn't find any, but the Sony tv kept saying bringing out the PS3 experience. With the Sony I might be ok?

panasonic or samsung hands down. ALL THE WAY,
i have a 50' plasma vierra Panasonic, 1080p 2010 edition, i love it.
plasma's play games better than LCD, but their not as bright, they have more "true" pixel ratio color than LCD does, "you get your true whites, true blacks, etc."
plasma's are a little heavier
what i always tell people is...
it all depends on where your going to be,
a dark / semi dark room = plasma
lots and lots of light from outside/window = LCD
stay away from Vizio, good deals if you want it too only last a maybe 2 years

oh. i also forgot.
fuck 3d tv's right now, just arent worth the price.
LED tvs are amazing. omg. but a bit more pricey.
& as far as 720 compared to 1080p
i notice the difference. but ask yourself this.
for just the extra buck, its worth having the better product.
then you can say i have a GREAT TV instead of i have a DECENT TV

to answer your question, gaming consoles are designed not to burn your tv's.
BUT - you can do this easily on any tv if you pause the game and leave it on for hours, if you turn the tv off, this wont be an issue.
gotta remember, people leave things on. as long as you dont leave a static picture up on the tv for hours on end, you will be fine.
plasma/lcd - theres good arguements for both sides, ultimately its about what you like. LED's are the shit, but are still a little tooooo pricey for the technology imo.

& to answer your question about the TV's you posted. def. the samsung, but your wasting money and time getting off that website.
go to a HHGregg or bestbuy. i bet you could get a 42 inch for not even $60-$80 more.
my brother bought a 65' plasma & a 42' panasonic vierra plasma from HHGregg about 2 months ago,
i dont remember the price on the 65' but i know he got the 42' for right around $680

LOL that all good but the reason why a 32 inch because I have a small room. I have a 19" on my TV stand and it takes half of it, but I'm like f that if I want a HDTV I'm getting a 32." I just have to remove the Directv box. I'm buying a tv so I don't have to buy another in ten years. (Even though technology changes I think I'll be good until then.) Here are some pictures of my room. The TV is not far from my bed can't even lay the Iron Gym completely down.

i used to have a shelf thing just like yours, well similar, just get a table to put your tv on, and put all your other stuff under or inside it
& get rid of that bulky thing,
or
put your ps3 and directTV else where & make room for a perrrty 42'
42' will fit just fine, its not as big as you think [: but compared to a 32 youd be wishing you had the 42'

Strange as it is, you can hardly tell the difference between 1080 and 720 for gaming however, progressive versus interlaced, you can. Progressive offers a smoother picture. From what i've read, FFXIV will only run in 720p which is good enough for being able to play the game without having to sit in front of a PC.
