So, today in besieged, a certain individual was being extremely annoying. Whining about every little thing he could; and apparently, he does that all the time in whitegate and jeuno. He said something about petitioning to have him removed from the server, and it piqued my interest. Is this possible? How do I go about doing it?

In case anyone is wondering, the said person is Welfare on Valefor.

Not possible and will never happen. Whining is not against the EULA. There are tons of ways to be annoying but not break any bannable rules. Regardless, if it was possible, it would be exploited like a MOFO.

Well, there was a taru on Valefor who was forced to move from valefor a few months back. (Renrent)-- People disliked him as much as they disliked welfare. To my knowledge, Renrent was similarly petitioned to be removed from valefor and then a second time from his new server. After that he was banned.

Edit: Renrent apparently started shout wars in Whitegate like Welfare constantly does, so the situations are very similar.

And if shit gets too bad, just 'petition' a GM to make him shut the f*ck up.

WHOA seriously? So that's what happened to my little "friend". He used to randomly talk to me about how he wanted to cheat on his wife with some girl he played with in game. Then he'd switch topics to old Japan, Meiji era and all this stuff. Funniest chat logs ever. I didn't think he was hated on so bad, haha. .-. Rennix will be sad...

He wasn't "hated" on by the NA's, in fact, most of us thought he was quite hilarious. The people who had an extreme dislike towards him were the Japanese. Well, I'm not sure if it was all of them or what, it's just what i've gathered from speaking with a lot of JP people in the game.

I do not believe at all that he was removed via petition. Like I said, if that was possible, all any end-game LS would have to do is petition to remove any real competition. If he was spamming harassing comments, he could have been banned from breaking the EULA.

Well the GMs would obviously do it with tact. They wouldn't remove a whole shell because of competition.

I wasn't referring to a whole LS, I was referring to a specific person. I know people who don't bot who are just good at claiming. Should other LSs petition to remove him so they can get the claim easier? No... and that's the type of abuse we'd see if it were possible. I'm sorry, I just don't believe it without proof.
