Not many of us left around here on KI. There are some who pop in every now and then. I only stick around here because i'm bored and I get a few chuckles here and there.

I remember when Morathi quit, only got like $200-$300 for his account. I got a grand for mine and still got it back for nothing. I know some who could have gotten a bunch of cash but just deleted everything out of anger (boohoo!, he wouldn't let me have m.feet!).

Yea I see there are a lot of accounts for sale now. Guess people don't know that you get bonus' for having an old FFXI account (or so the rumor says).

Aion was such a flop, I worry about FFXIV but this is FF so... it should be all good

I've noticed that all the MMOs that companies hurry and try to release always flop. The ones that the companies take years to develop... with some spit and polish always end up being good. I have a lot of fun with WoW but it took a while to see all the flaws. They did do some things right that FFXI did wrong. I'm sure the same thing will happen in FFXIV. After a few years of playing it, we'll all have some little complaints that will be changed in FFXVIII.

FFXIV is a lot more polished than Aion, although it's really hard to tell because there's so little content they've released for their beta. I'm a FFXI noob (came in at '05), so by then there were already several sites around to help me along, which will be FFXIV's saving grace.

Still, it'll be fun to start a new MMO where no one knows how to do anything and there are no cookie-cutter guides for how to succeed. That sense of 'newness' is addictive.

Old Old Leviathan fart reporting in after being gone two and half years .... in that time I've joined the US Army and got in shape built lots of custom PC's and mod cases in the works is a bulletproof laptop for me to use over seas for FFXIV haha

I'm pretty ancient when it comes to XI, haven't played since 2005 or 2006, but will be making a comeback in XIV. Any details on an old Leviathan linkshell?

There are some that people are planning for. The only one that I see being pushed more consists of newer waves of people that you wouldn't want to socialize with with a few older players. Once the game goes live, people will be more organizing shells and we can sift through the crowd and not just join whoever posts on the same forum as you. There are many old faces who don't even post here who I know will be joining.

FYI, if you're going to try tempting someone with those things, you might want to include what kind of beer, fellatio from which person and if protection will be made available for the cheap strippers. The last time I saw cheap strippers was the last time i'll see cheap strippers. One of them looked 50 and had stretch marks resembling a sun. I don't know who told her that she was hot enough to strip, but that person should be executed.
