OH HAY GUYZ. I've been trying to get my hands on the Beta for the past 24 hours. Is there a general consensus as to which server will be the "official" Leviathan immigration point? Looking forward to seeing all you people there.

consensus with BotD is Lindblum at this point since it starts with L like Leviathan. I see dobu is there already.

So far the game is beautiful, but some things are a bit unclear like:
- if certain races starting in specific cities give rewards like the rings we recieved in ffxi.
- how good or bad server stability will be (currently there is a lot of lag but this is beta)
- bonus to character for continueing to play the career type you chose at character creation
- what is the cost for added character slots down the line? or are we simply limited to 3 for OB?
- how end game party/raid/groups will work
- if the game will stay more pve or go pvp like ffxi tried with ballista.

My experiences so far is that the crafting is amazing, fighting leaves a bit to be desired and the storyline is simply amazing!

Will probly give it at least a month like aion. Hopefully SE wont let us down like aion did, and they will delay release if things are not working at least 90%.

Fighting gets better the more skills you have to utilize. Still waiting on group mechanics to crystallize before I make any final judgments on battling. My only real qualm is that I totally kicked a gladiator's ass in the bloodsands Coliseum at Ul'Dam, and it still told me I lost.

9 years ago I started playing this game, that's insane. that comes out to $2,376 in monthly fees just for my one account, some where in there I was floating 5 separate accounts. That's hard for me to fathom. At any rate, I miss ffxi.
