Need Help maximizing game.

At the moment im running it on a 46" LED at 1920x1080 with 2560x2048 background res.

Im increasing the mipmaps to 5 but im wondering how much higher can i go with the background res? My pc if more than capable.

6 Core 8GB GTX 480 Superclocked.

What other settings could I tweak? Also How do I apply the the plugin for font changes? Thanks in advanced!

The font change thing is a .dat pack you can get here > FFXIStyle. This also has different icons, cursors and backgrounds included. There is a read me that outlines what dats are for what, if you don't want the icons or backgrounds.

As for how high you can max it, I don't know. I suggest gradually raising settings till you either see a drop in performance or no change in appearance.
