I agree with all this except the high protein diets part, as I've been on a paleo diet modified with a couple of carb-up cheat meals a week for a couple of years and I'm healthier, stronger, and more athletic than I've ever been. Though I do eat bison more than beef, and when I eat beef it's horomone free, by law the producers are not allowed to use horomones on bison. The rest are ubiquitious things that either have a carcinogenic or estrogenic effect on the body. The best thing you can do about it is to eat more broccoli/cauliflour/kale/mustard greens. Brassicas are miracle foods with both cancer fighting and anti-estrogenic properties that everyone should consume daily. There just isnt any way we're going to get people to stop popping pills and pissing the residue out in the water supply or ban cancerous chemicals in the U.S. as the chemical companies have been fighting tooth and nail to ensure that no chemicals are ever banned, ever. Even ones like formaldehyde where they fought sucessfully to prevent it from being designated a carcinogen, despite widespread evidence that it does indeed cause cancer.
