Long story short. 10 minutes to get my shit and move out of my mothers house. Forgot my remote. I have a different vizio remote for another vizio tv(16 inch). anyway i can use it with my current tv?(36 inch).

If that is hard to follow here is a simpler version. Can the 16inch tv's remote be used for my 32inch tv.

Probably not. Most TV remotes have a different frequency so that it doesnt conflict with other devices. Your best bet is go get it, or buy a universal remote and program it for your TV.

Since my room mate has a Vizio also, I was nice enough to try it out, and yes it did work. Apparently all their TV's have the same frequency.
