Is it just me, or does publicizing your husbands every flaw online sound like a bad way to fix a relationship? Not that it sounds like this woman should be with this guy if what she says is to be believed.

It doesn't. WoW has so many more players than any other mmo that of course it will have more people this happens to. It's all a numbers game.

The thing that kills me is that she has almost a year's worth of posts, yet the guy only moved out sometime this month. Did it really take her that long to realize things weren't going to improve?

Am I the only one who doesn't blame the video game, but blames the player himself? If it wasn't WoW, it would have been something else. Some people simply don't have the maturity to overcome an addiction, regardless of what type it is.

Pretty sure it takes a little bit more than just maturity to overcome addiction. IT'S LIKE I'M WALKIN ON SUNSHINE etc.

No, it's defiantly the husband's fault.

I think he was trying to use wow as an outlet for his anger. Doesn't look like it worked well.

Yeah, i have to agree with you. Except for whatever he was hoping to happen on WoW to help relieve himself of all that anger didn't happen causing out lashes at his wife and kids.

Heh....I recognize alot of the behaviour she described from my own dad, only it wasn't due to a game.
The extreme switcharounds of personality (verbal and physical violence which then flops around to being nice in public) and being an angel on the streets, home devil are often signs of drinkers, drug abusers or both.
A year is actually a pretty damn fast time to get rid of someone like that. Funny thing is those people are often the hardest to get rid of.
She's better off without that asspipe.
