It is pretty good, if you like the first one, you will love the second one.

May be on the PSP, but the watercolor scheme is still solid and the battle system rocks as always. It is a worthy purchase.

Mines still in shrinkwrap, might be able to play tonight. I don't know anyone to play with in real life, but the campaign looks fun anyways.

Everytime Avan talks I feel akward. It's like I'm actually playing an erotic game. He makes some really... weird sounds when his portrait pops up with text. And is the drill sergeant... voiced by Bender?

The game turned out so much better than I anticipated, at least so far. I expected more of the same formula from VC1, but hot damn they added multiple branches for your classes, added new classes, added up to three side stories per character, and tweaked the AI a little to get rid of some of the game breaking things from the original. Pretty awesome game so far, and most of the reviews seem to think so as well with an average of 8.5-9.0.

I was unsure about the doki doki school days shit when I heard it would be more anime styled and inside an academy, but I don't really have any complaints so far. The class system is far more intricate than the first, and I like how they gave each recruit their own little side story. Only thing I can even begin to gripe about is no option to use Japanese voices, but considering it's on the PSP, I expected as much.

Anyone close to the end yet? So far I think my only gripe is that you can still use a scout or stormtrooper to win entire levels with the right orders. Easy to overlook though, especially considering how much content this game has. (a lot)

This game is quite fun > The VA choices could have been better, and maybe some translated lines lolz But I'm havin a blast so far Can't wait to take this up onto Ad Hoc Party!

There is Scout Veteran and Scout Elite class to unlock.

VC3 on PSP doesn't bother me that much, but would have liked it if they held off for the 3DS. VC4 on 3DS or PSP2 will be a bit less painful I guess
