I don't know where to request a code, or where to download the game. SE's sites are always so archaic and unnavigable.

Looks like i'm fucked. Site says they're not longer accepting applications for the beta. GG. I got all the way in to register a code, assumign that's where I go to request a code. Wrong. Been looking where to get a code, found it, turns out they arent giving any more.

Where did you see it that they have stopped giving out codes? I don't see how they could do that when it was near impossible for people to navigate anywhere. I got to the apply the terms and agreement page and nothing happened after that point.

Yeah they said they've stopped the downloads, not the code registration.

I finally got something to load, and it gave me a small message "We're sorry, but we have suspended Final Fantasy XIV beta invitations. Please apply again when are accepting applications again"

Or something to that level. I closed the window in absolute anger.

Finally got register code and installer. But for some reason, it doesn't look like it's downloading... that or it's really slower than I thought.

EDIT: 0.1% OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! >_>; lol At least I now know that the downloader is working.

My biggest pet peeve in all this is the mandatory and constant use of my security token. Each time the beta website gives you an error you have to re-enter your one-time password. *sigh* Gimmie a break S-E, I don't want my token to die on me too quickly now.

FFFFF another version update aaaaaaagh. Since my ISP is a dick and hasn't fixed my interbutts since yesterday, I've had to resort
to stealing a neighbors signal which isn't very strong. It's gonna take hours to get a 5mb file.

Are you talking about the update that was given out today? I just got to 47% in like 3 seconds, now its taking its sweet time, but I haven't seen too much of an issue on my end with updates. So hopefully it'll be done in a bit.
