anyone see the first 3 pieces of our empyrean gear..... it looks really retarded. I kind of liked our af and our relic armor but this empyrean gear is horrible! yellow and the head gear is godawful looking, its like a mix of kirby's beam hat and some sort of night scope on our eyes ;-;

I thought it seemed a bit ridiculous at first, but it's growing on me. I'm not too fond of the color either, but I'm sure I'll get used to that as well. Would've liked red/black more than that putrid yellow, but meh.. lol Hopefully the stats will be good and it'll be easily looked over.

I like it, just not the eye mask, but I know it's based off of real performers outfits. Would prefer some black/purple or black/red for a Harley Quinn vibe.

At first I was glad to hear S-E saying our third and final tier of "AF" will not just be a pallet swap, but the only major differences I've seen thus far is head gear. Kind of a let down, model shape-wise, since pants and boots shapes (not textures/colors) seem almost identical, I'm hoping body armor will be completely different like head gear is, as for gloves, guessing it won't differ too much from current AF/Relic glove models.

I thought the hat was the best part, totally makes us different and stand out more. As of now my pup looks exactly like my mnk because I almost have full usukane (missing hands), except that I use spurrer's beret over somen.

edit: and my wish list now is... if they ever make a new automaton frame I want it to look just like the new armor!

I hate the colors and the hat's tails are too far up on the head. I prefer the slicked-back look that the purple version has from that one the Uka chick wears during the Sunbreeze Festival events. I had always said I wished PUP got that kind of jester hat, but good ol' SE took that and made it the fugliest single piece of armor in the game. Thanks SE.

The stats better suck, because no way would I ever full-time that, and chances are it wont even come near Anwig Salade augments anyway.

The colors are what really get to me. It could have looked so badass with any other color replacing that disgusting cheese-yellow.

Watch it have Acc+6 STR+4 DEX+4 Haste +6%. <.< But I agree, I'd definitely prefer something like Uka's, with the slicked back look. It makes it look sleeker and cooler.

I guess you're right. I'll probably still just idle in AF2, I like the look and colors better. Hoping it is pet stats so I can continue TPing in Walahra and WSing in Anwig. I'd like a head piece that significantly affects mage frames too.

I've never been one for .dat swaps or plug-ins, so I can deal. I do hope though it will add some nice pet: stats on it. Would love a head piece to nuke in.

It's probably because I'm overlooking the color and looking straight at the mask since it looks so mechanical, although the color just makes me think of halloween and candy corn so I don't mind that either~

I actually prefer the BST set so far actually. I really like the helm. To be honest, I like every single set especially WHM, RNG, and COR, but I dislike the PUP set very much. Mainly because of the color, but also the fugly way they did the hat. :/

I love pup's. All of the AF3s are either more detailed reskins (blm-rdm), shit boring (mnk-rng), or fucking off the wall awesome (pup-bst).

I've been wondering if they won't treat the armor similarly to the weapons, actually.
Perhaps they'll allow us to do different trials per piece to specify certain augments on each? It would be convenient if they treated them kind of like the mini-expansion armor with stat buffs specific to each armor's job.
Probably too convenient, but I guess we'll see.
