edit: this is interesting cuz now we can mainly use deus ex automata first, repair, and save activate for those OSHIT moments if auto dies or sumthin within first 20min for dangerous events. iono just a tyhought ;_;

Not bad, I can confidently use PUP in a lot more AOE-spam events now, but not really good for nuking still.

Actually I'd say it's still good for nuking. Automaton refresh is insane since a year ago when I last played.

was duoing with a blue yesterday and used ranger frame and only spammed deus ex, generally Serenade lasted long enough for at least one ws, at which point hed get hate, sometimes hed die sometimes he didnt, but in any event he always outlasted the cooldown, VERY happy with this new JA, also tested with my blm, oddly serenades first spell is still a nuke (or drain) I expected aspir, but was pleasently surprised. it varied, but I used some oils a couple of times to ensure it was a nuke

Wiki says that automatons may not use abilities like flashbulb, converter, strobe, and all that jazz. I haven't tested it but maybe it gets called with all the timers of the abilities to the max. So maybe you got to wait for them to cool down?
