Same here... I only went there because a bunch of my friends chose it as their server. It's laggy as fuck.

I went there because that's where Origin went. That's part of how it ended up as populated as it is. The Origin forums have about 50-60 active posters, but over 1,500 lurkers. We announced we were going to Lindblum and it exploded. Our original votes were headed towards Wutai, but some people started on Lindblum, so Ziss decided Lindblum it was.

The other problem is that among the famous FF cities, it was one of the most popular and recognized.

It's a good thing though. This allows for maximum stress testing.

Lindblum was too unstable for me, so I started a character in Ul'Dah on the Palamecia server. It is a moderate sized server. It was 2 chocobos when I got on it. I like this server a lot, would recommend testing on servers that people are not on.

I was on Bodhum server, Pretty quiet, very little to no lag on an average comp. Was easy to find some people to party up and get good exp/skill up. I'm going to whatever the least populated server is when retail comes out.
