New game, New world, New friends... rad.

The game is far from perfect at this point, but after 5 years of playing ffxi, I imagine it will be. They will get it figured, and it's gonna be epic.

That being said, I'm looking for hopefully long-term (not neccesarily hardcore) ffxiv'ers to join my linkshell, so we can go about exploring and learning the game together, and ultimately, being badass together.

Ideally, I'm looking for ex-ffxi'ers to join, just because I know they (for the most part) already know the level of patience, tenacity, and commitment required to be successful in online FF. But truly, anyone mature, friendly and intelligent is most welcome to join, both first timers and folks with other online game experience.

It also really helps when we can use previous game lingo to explain new game lingo.. lol.

Valefor peoples! JOIN UP! Nothing is more rad than reconnecting with old online buddies on a new game, something I'm guessing will be even better on another FF.

For myself, I ran a (what I think was) successful endgame linkshell on Valefor for close to 2 years with alot of help from great people, and a very successful social linkshell when I started. At this point, the dream is to start social, move to event/social, and ultimately end up endgame/event. Who knows if that will ever come to fruition at this point though. A dude can dream though....

I also spent some time on Aion, drilled my way to lvl 32 or so before the game bored me to death.

Sadly I would not recommend this shell to anyone that has a sense of humor or expects deals/promises to be kept. I recently myself got removed from this pearl due to most of its inhabitants being the garden variety FFXI anti-social variant who likes to make up alot of crap and misunderstanding.

As well as having an argument with one of their pet members for having me wait for 2-4 days at a time for materials to convert which I pay for, to then take my own fire crystals, convert and sell to another LS member for a low LS fee as well as getting skillups for myself. Why the arguement? He kept giving the mats to the person I was supposed to make them for because he does not realize I have a life, and cannot always be on to grab them from him if his bags are full. His fault for not taking up something else other then Mining zerging to 50.

Be also warned the Leader of the shell doesnt like confrontation and even though he gave me a pearl himself, knowing full well it would not be my primary but ill tune in and help out when I can, he himself did not discuss with me nor was even the one to remove me. This shows me a complete lack of respect, and failure to take action for himself, letting his officer speak for him. Which I find to be very insulting.

This shell and its players is on my permanent shit list until either shell dissolves or the inhabitants leave the pearl. But the leader, one of his officers, and the material gatherer will always be permanently be on my shit list until one of em gives me a full frontal apology.
