I can't see these being usefull other than when they're self-sufficent... in such a scenerio as say farming;
Elder Goobues in the boyahdaTree. Eld. Goobue's have AoE Paralyze and Silence TP moves, both of which can create a lot of down-time while farming especially when farming solo.
For me anything I can sufficiently solo on Ninja that's worth the time(IE-TheBoyahdaTree)is something I don't want to have been made slower or harder for me to accomplish what I'm trying to accomplish. If that means with these new spells I could prevent things like that from happening I could see that being usefull towards ppl who share the same kinds of goals as me if what I speculate is correct.
I'm liking the whole new Ninjutsu spells thing, ya know; add more variety as if we don't have enough variety in spells already(and in Spell Merits too >_<) but having these Ichi spells so late in the game leads me to believe we won't be seeing Ni versions of either these two spells...
or Aishi:ichi which was released just last patch for that matter. Tier 1 Ninjutsu Casting Magic (Thank you.) but (No, thanks.).
