Ninja got some pretty sweet shit along with WAR, SAM and BLM so 4/5 of my jobs did good this update. And fk you SE, soon as I updgrade my Abyss Flanchard to +1 you come out with +15 skill lol.

Next trial for my Spiral Hell +10% Reckoning is 113dmg 528delay WS Dmg+10% for Reckoning+1. Starting that bitch now.

Idk if you ask me these pieces are much better then we are making them out to. The head piece would now be our best TP head gear with 6haste and 3 DA + other stats. And with just speedbelt and Dusk gloves +1 thats 16% haste for apoc users. The only piece I dont see being very good is the feet. Great casting piece and depending on how much better occult amen is now with the adjustment and with this piece who knows. Attack occasionally varies with HP now this could be interesting. A permanent souleater increase without the loss of HP perhaps? That alone could make it worth it, we dont know yet. All these pieces are doing is changing the way DRK plays a bit thats all like SE said before they would like to see us cast more. This is most likely their "solution" In any case I see these pieces having lots of potential in later upgrades.

I would be mildly annoyed if it gives AM, the /ws on its own is kinda shitty. But everyone is so close to capping haste anyways, no point in QQing if they do get AM.

Im going to say that it won't give AM just out of the fact they have to take something away from it otherwise what would be the sense in upgrading the relic itself if you have this scythe, except for the other bonuses of course, but from personal thought the only reason I want Apoc so bad is for the AM effect and the possible double damage, seeing as nowadays its fairly easy to cap out acc without a huge loss in other stats. On the other hand however it could give the Am based on the facts that it would be the only way that jobs such as pup, cor, blu, and dnc to receive the AM so its a toss up at this point until its tested, but the actually debate on this topic is whether or not our new Empyrean armor is worthless or not so lets not stray from that topic.

I would say it's absolutely not worthless they are quite amazing pieces in my opinion. Highest STR legs in the game with the added acc and att its like having an adaberk on your legs without the DEX. Not only that it's just stage 2 of the piece who knows how much better they will get with later updates. The feet also questionably the best WS piece in that slot for DRK possibly even the best as I cant think of any other piece off the top of my head.

The real question however is going to be how the set effect works. Is it a constant bonus to attack like souleater, with higher HP the more damage you do, or is it just a percentage of hits that can have increased attack, and how much attack?

As far as our other updates Im curious to see how much "better" ouccult acumen is going to be. And exactly how much crit damage is added, as I crit quite a lot lately maybe even 2/5 swings, sometimes more it hasn't been unlikely for me to see 2-3 crits in a row.

Endark could be a very nice add to our arsenal depending on the amount of damage dealt.

With all this combined it very well could bring us back to being the hardest melee hitting job in the game with impressive WS numbers.

I am looking at the set bonus. I think the set bonus is probably the best of all melee jobs. Can't beat Excalibur in armor form, and it is unbeatable in term of its value against high level mobs.

We still do have glove and body to go, but unless both of them give haste, it would be significantly weaker than the other class' AF3. I am betting on the body giving augmented souleater while gloves probably enhances last resort since it is obvious that they purposely skipped those 2 main JAs on the 3 slots. I expect body to have unbelievable stats. Then again, this is SE we are talking about....

Look at the bright side, at least the magian requirement from 80-85 isn't ridiculous. 30 daysoul break for me, and I heard it is 300 point per from bastion so it can't be too bad. 90 dmg OAT scythe is going to be pretty sweet.

The head piece is pretty damn nice combined with belt and neck and WS lets, this set is getting pretty damn good. Still gotta keep my 16% haste somehow. So if hands are about 4% haste, and with speed belt, there is the 16% and I can start stacking on other pieces and get rid of my homam for good.

I think at some point, you will ultimately want to sport the full set and tp in them. Even if it doesn't add up to 10% haste (6% from belt) for the full set, you will want that attack occasionally varies with HP.

However, I have a feeling the set bonus won't work as I imaged.... Excalibur's description is "Damage proportionate to HP", AF3 description is "Attack occasionally varies with HP", so there is obvious difference. I certainly hope it doesn't mean we will occasionally have attack value of 1500 (HP), cuz at high lvl, our attack will most likely be capped anyway....

I'm pretty impressed with it all. The head is outstanding. The legs are nice, not going to throw out my ares for them though, on weaker mobs the DA will be better hen the str ATt. Legs and feet are excellent WS pieces. Ace's feet will be nice to have before seeing the final 2 pieces. Ace, goading,af 3, still need 2% elsewhere. 5hit Apoc will be owner unless the set effect is too good. Either way Apoc got a boost on DRK this update. My other main MNK got a much greEter update though :(

Not only did they help us out with relic upgrades for us Apocs, since 130 = 14.4 damage teir which is the only one in that teir, we get a critical hit up, all in all this update is pretty damn good in my eyes. Lets are almost a Ebody on your legs lol.
