Today after logging in I noticed character on screen were taking quite a while to load.. more than usual.. and also action animations seem delayed.. what could be the cause of this..? There is no drop in FPS while loading the caracters, they just appear after a while... I don't like it this way.. please help..

I've tried running the benchmark.. Score is 2762 but.. the load time is way too high..! It's 40358..! My graphics card is an ATI 4850 HD... I have upgraded from a geforce 9600.. with that card load time was alot lower but also scored less... does this have anything to do with it..? How do I fix it...?

Most Open Beta servers are currently lagging due to being overcrowded, so it's most likely not related to your PC.

Um.. there is no longer server lag now that it's been released but.. NPCs are still appearing kinda slowly... hell even my character appears slowly if there are many people on screen... I suspect it's my new card not functioning as it should.. :s

Edit: Hm.. it appears that after installing the latest graphic drivers the characters appear more quickly.. hopefully normally..

Edit 2: Yep.. outdated or faulty drivers.. good thing it's solved now..

What the hel is wrong with this..!? I'm so pissed off.. today started again doing that shit slow loading characters..! Grrrrr...

I recorded a sample on video so you can see how shitty is my situation...
(Don't mind the FPS.. they're higher than that usually but when fraps records videos they go down alot..)

I had the same problem til i tweaked the config. Turn everything to standard, remove occult occulance or whatever it is, remove depth of field....so forth, turn resolution buffer to resolution (double res is too high). Play. If its better, then you know the problem. From there you can slowly increase your config til you have the best possible.

I did this when i started and it got alot better, also i have similar components to your PC.

I already tried lowering the settings but the situation remained the same.. :s
