Twitter, Facebook, MySpace etc. can all go to hell for all I care. Seriously, all those websites are just plain crap. I would never ever want anything related to those websites in any of the games I play. And yes, I'm aware that KI is apparently similar to Facebook now.

But seriously, if you cannot appreciate or at least understand the sociological implications of something like twitter you are either an idiot, or think philosophy is for faggots (it probably is). To be honest, I'd rather be branded an idiot than accept a platform where people give status updates about everything they do, sometimes even about taking a shit, and then have 10,000 people following them.

It mostly depends on what they post. Some Facebooks can be interesting, as long as it's not the typical "Update every hour how they feel" crap.

Raptr is the gaming Facebook/Twitter. And it can even update your Facebook and Twitter with what you are doing.

The irony is that Microsoft added both FB and Twitter to Live... But you can't update it through the XBL dash nor within game.
