Myself and a SMN from my LS are both wondering if there was actually an increase here, I'm not seeing it on just plain day....
Maybe it was just weather?? IDK, anyone else tested this?

Could you be a bit more specific about the conditions you were under? IE, gear, avatar, what day it was, and your summoning magic skill.

what does that have to do with "did your ES increase from before to after update"?
It's simple go outside, use ES and see if it went up since the last time you cast it pre-update....

It has to do with all those things having effected it in the past, and perhaps it's day + weather where it gets an increase over its old day + weather value. Maybe you're right and it is actually broken. One test won't tell us for certain.

The amount you get from ES did not increase. The summoning magic skill cap that was used in the calculation was raised. It used to be capped at 350 smn magic skill. Now that cap is either removed or raised.
i.e. at 350 smn magic skill and above, if you did an ES that was neutral to the day you would only get 300 mp back.

And what if it did increase for me? Wouldn't you want to know how and why your ES didn't produce new results when mine did? No, I guess not, seeing as how you have a problem providing details that would be of actual use.

Actually, no. Because if it didn't increase for you, or anyone else for that matter, then we would know that it was a problem with SE and needed to be fixed. If it wasn't a problem for you, but then it was for me, then I could go through and break down the details as to what was wrong with my individual set up. The question was "Is anyone else having this problem?" Simple yes or no would have sufficed, or offered a logical answer like Rak did with something useful rather than asking me what "avatar" I used. Elemental Obviously... and well, I'm sure I matched the day up too.
