There goes my chance to play FFXIV before regular release.. I've just found out that I'll receive my limited edition 7-10 days after release... e_e

I was going to do release-day delivery from Amazon, but getting things deilvered to my house isn't very safe or reliable. Changed it to a B&M preorder from gamestop, so now I'll have to hoof it between classes into the city to grab it.

Gamestop gives you an option to preorder and retire at the closest shop in town..?

Gamestop will stock whatever you preorder and try to get it there ASAP. The one near me can sometimes get games on release date, or it could take a day or two.

So do you think I should cancel my preorder at play.com and make a new one at GS..? Problem is.. the one in my country isn't taking preorders yet for limited edition...

That may be true but.. in that case you write "Out of Stock" and not "Not yet available for preorder".. that's incorrect and deceiving..

i preordered mine with gamestation and every game iv pre ordered through them has gotten to me on release day. im in the UK so you might be able to get them to ship this for you if you check it on the website, www.gamestation.co.uk.
