On Beta I have Archer ranked 12, and thought i'd do testing with different kinds of arrows. All testing on Thistletailed Marmots (spelling?) with a Maple Long Bow. Started testing Warped Arrows(lvl1) , Flint Arrows (lvl4), and Obsidian Arrows (lvl14). With Raging Strike > Puncture all arrows hit between 285-305 with the Flint Arrow with the single highest hit. Light Strikes ranged from 110-125 on all arrows. So then seeing that the damage was the same, i decided to test if one helped you gain skill points faster then the other.

Killing 5 Marmots at a time with each kind of arrow, gained any where from 50-300 skill points a fight. After the 5 fights Added up how much Skill Points were gained. (Keep in mind only used Light Strike the entire fights.) Obsidian Arrows gained 602sp Flint Arrows gained 611sp and Warped Arrows gained 626. Repeated this test a total of 4x getting similar numbers every time, Flint and Obsidian gained most xp once, while warped gained most xp twice. Got similar numbers when using WS's during fights.

On the information I gathered, I see no reason on why to NOT using Warped Arrows. Similar Damage, Similar XP, and quite a bit cheaper.

Was wondering what other people got, or if they've tried on VT mobs or what they thought.
