Synergy is a gaming community that has chapters for its members in several different games, including Battlefield, EVE and WoW.

This chapter, is a casual and social FFXIV Linkshell that participates in every aspect of the game, questing, leveling, crafting and End Game content.
We pride ourselves in being able to provide an atmosphere of easygoing people who are here to enjoy the game and just have some good fun with great people.

• We are a community of friends that strives to improve the enjoyment of the game for our Linkshell members. We seek to provide an atmosphere that is fun and relaxing, where we as friends can come and get away from real life for short periods of time.
  
• We are a community that respects and listens to its members, and treats everyones ideas as if they were of the utmost importance.
  
• We are not a "raiding" LS where strangers gather only for scheduled events and the focus is on progression at the cost of excluding members or forcing anyones schedule or play style. Rather, we dabble in a little of everything and like to enjoy all the aspects offered by the game.
  
• We are a community that takes pride in ourselves. We strive to become a well-known and respected Linkshell on Besaid.

Basic Rules

Recruitment is Open for the Synergy FFXIV chapter. We have a few basic rules to be aware of before you join:

• You must be at least 18 years old, or be living with an immediate family member already in Synergy.
  
• You must be able to run Ventrilo and have a working microphone to communicate with the rest of your linkshell members while you play.
  
• Synergy does not tolerate cheaters. If you are found cheating, hacking, or botting, you will be removed from the Linkshell.
  
• You must treat everyone in the Linkshell with courtesy and respect.
  
• Joining this chapter does not require full knowledge of the game or your character. It's about you as an individual, and not about your l33t sk1llz. We do not require you to play a certain way or do the Linkshell any favors to be a part of our family.
  
• Members are bound by the Synergy Code of Conduct located in the New Associates forum.

Joining Synergy on Besaid

We make a distinction between joining Synergy (with chapters in several games) and the Synergy Linkshell on FFXIV. To join the LS, we ask that you do the following:

• Read our Code of Conduct located in the New Associates forum.

• Read over our basic rules and make sure you understand what we expect from LS members.
  
• Contact a recruiter or linkshell officer in game. Any LS member should be able to help you find one.
  
• You must speak to the recruiter in voice chat to talk about joining the linkshell.
  
• Make a post in the FFXIV Public Forum and tell us a little bit about yourself and how you found out about us. Then we will take you through the necessary steps to become a part of Synergy.
  
• Once your post is up, a recruiter can invite you to the linkshell!

When you join the linkshell, you will be assigned the rank of Cugine (Italian for "cousins"), which is our new recruit rank.
There is a trial period of at least two weeks before you can be promoted to Associate, at which time you will have access to our private forums.
If you remain at Cugine rank for more than two weeks, remind a linkshell officer to take action on your promotion.
