Collectors Edition art book sounded pretty cool until I just found out that the EU variant will come with a life size leather map of Eorzea. That sounds awesome. I feel like we got screwed.

Yeah, I guess ultimately the in game item is the most important. But that map sounds pretty cool. Possibly frame worthy material as a keep sake of your time playing the game.

Bein the first country to be told JP ONRY and <English> <No thanks> was highly over-rated anyway. Though it is counter intuitive that England lags behind the US, it isn't like they have to re-translate the game a second time. I think worse comes to worse they'd have to do 2 sets of voice overs so the accents match the intended country.

And just find a way to import it roofus...if nothing else Im sure someone will ebay it.

Its easier to sell a game in the US than EU. So putting more promotional stuff in a certain country I guess helps bring the customer in. Don't think a map would make a difference, but, I was disappointed when I saw a nice CE version of Birth by Sleep came out in EU and not in the US, ohh well.

I was thinking about perhaps buying the Collectors edition with the map being one of the reasons why. Is it really that bad?
