I've PM'd Dyire a few times in the past (or Motoh? forget) about simple updates like stickies, quest guides and things like that. I even offered to update a lot of the information myself, but to no avail. I did have a sticky on the Remora forums that I kept up to date for about a year until it became too much of a hassle to bother every single LS leader on the server repeatedly. The sticky is still there, though I fucked with it when that account got banned because I was still able to edit posts.

Anyways, as far as updating, could a FFXIV Announcement section be made, separate from the FFXI one? Would look a little cleaner, be easier to organize and afaik shouldn't be too much work.

I noticed after mentioning something similar a while ago, they started adding in 14] and 11] before the title of the updates. Would still be nice if they implemented separate announcement boards for each.

I think it is fine the way it is.

Your idea sounds good for organizing purposes, but I think it is more beneficial to have the FFXI and FFXIV announcements in one spot, at least for now. There is a lot of people unsure about FFXIV, and when they look at the FFXI announcements, something from FFXIV may catch their interest.
