Just wondering if there are plans to give the classes their individual subsections like FFXI's jobs, or if they will continue to be clustered together as they are now. I apologize ahead of time if it's been mentioned somewhere and I've over looked it.

Something like this?

FFXIV Jobs
  • Disciples of War
    • Pugilist
    • Gladiator
    • Marauder
    • Archer
    • Lancer
  • Disciples of Magic
    • Conjurer
    • Thaumaturge
  • Disciples of the Land
    • Miner
    • Botanist
    • Fisher
  • Disciples of the Hand
    • Carpenter
    • Blacksmith
    • Armorer
    • Goldsmith
    • Leatherworker
    • Weaver
    • Alchemist
    • Culinarian

I thought of something like that but it seems it would be too cluttered and crowded to have. What do others think about breaking it down by individual Disciplines?

Clustered? Yes, but I do believe that's what we should do.

Not necessarily by disciplines per se, but just giving them their own space in general so people aren't weeding through gladiator/archer/pugilist threads to find marauder specific info for example. Obviously it isn't something that need be done immediately...the real serious dissection and number crunching won't likely begin until there's some form of endgame, or at least until people are nearing the cap.

But I figured the sooner the better. I would imagine it would be easier to take care of now than later, since there isn't much in terms of threads to move. And I actually kind of like that setup. I mean if they continue expanding on their class list it'll get cluttered regardless, so a breakdown similar to that would likely yield the best results.
