If you get a FFXIV.exe error when you try to open FFXIV, Update your graphic card. If you still receive this error open the FFXIV Config and turn your Graphic Settings down and this should fix the problem. Having ambient occlusion and depth of field on will also crash your game and give you the FFXIV.exe error if your graphic card cannot handle it so turn those off as well.
