Seems to be less in harmony than the rest of it. Other than that, you blended your character in well and the colours are fine.

That already looks better in my opinion - good job! It's less of a dominant presence.
Just to show you what I mean with dominant presence:


I altered the sig (I don't have Photoshop here, just some free software so sorry if it sucks) so that the black fades in more with the rest.
It doesn't jump out at you as much.
Because it is different to the other black shapes, (disarranged lines with circles pattern, as opposed to the clean strokes which occupy the rest of the image) the eye is drawn to it more.

Your sig is still cleaner, but I mainly made this to illustrate the criticism I was trying to give, lol.

Whenever an opinion has been proven right or wrong with evidence that determines if it is either of the two, then it becomes a fact. Until then, it remains an opinion, floating around in uncertainty. I do agree on the exit sign example to a degree, but they still remain opinions. If either were right or wrong, there would have become a universal sign for both countries that they agreed upon. It's their opinions on the matter, but whatever works for them, works.


Also, frogs > all animals. (But that's just my opinion. :3)

What's funny is that people posted a dictionary definition for "opinion"--apparently I've died and gone to Middle School Debate Hell--and said definition doesn't contradict pathy's argument in the least.

I love the people complaining about all the "fuss." Constructive criticism has resulted in a.) a more interesting thread and b.) improvements to the art. Go figure, Kaine got her feedback, I and several others were able to express our opinion, and the net result is all around positive, but the dull little sheep would prefer blind acceptance of pedestrian, boring work instead of suggesting that someone can improve.

I do like the current iteration of sig and avatar, by the way, Kaine. I think they mesh better and suit your purpose more effectively.

Path, with 'fuss' I wasn't referring to your criticisms and opinion of her signature. In fact you gave an all around neutral response - you criticized and questioned the idea the sig meant to bring across, while also saying when you think it has improved. Constructive criticism never harms anyone.
The "dull little sheep would prefer blind acceptance of pedestrian, boring work instead of suggesting that someone can improve." statement is pretty odd, considering I also gave criticism, albeit more brief than yours.

Edit: Oh, and in case you were referring to someone else, my bad. I assumed you were referring to me because you quoted "fuss", and I was the only one that mentioned that word.
