Importance of Pet:Stat builds?

Hello all! Until just recently, the only Pet:Stat builds I ever worked with were the BLM frame ones... However, the other day I was killing some stuff and was using WAR frame instead of BLM frame for whatever reason and I found out that I had a decent amount of Pet:Stat armor for melee frames. Such as: Mirke ACC+15, Shaolin Belt(I wasn't meleeing), Pantin Dastanas, Herder's Subligar, Gules Leggings (Pet: Subtle Blow+2, better than none)

I was thinking perhaps I should focus on trying to build a Pet:ACC/ATK build on top of finishing the last few slots towards my BLM Auto's build. . . Opinions?

Possible setup:

STR or DEX taipan/x/Animator+1/Oil
Spurrer/Beak*/[Ruby/Spinelx2]*
Mirke*/Pantin Dastanas/Angel's Ringx2*
Karagoz Mantle/Shaolin belt/Herder[Desultor*]/Dance Shoes*

Beak: Attack+5~ Ratk+5~
Ruby/Spinel: Accuracy+3/Attack+3~
Mirke: Accuracy+15
Angel's Ring: Pet: ACC+4~
Desultor: Either ACC/ATK, or ACC/Store TP
Dance Shoes: I have seen ACC+5~ Dance Shoes for pet..

Seems like a good build for whenever BLM frame isn't viable and WAR frame would (most likely) be the better. A few places I can think would be JoL and Kirin, although they're old content.

Don't sacrifice master stats for pet stats. In any situation you're using WAR or RNG frames, you're meleeing too; and with all the new gear available for PUPs, you're likely to put out more damage than your pet will. The reason BLM builds work so well is because we can't get in there t fight while using the BLM, and it's our best choice fr the situation to focus on it.

Not necessarily. Generally, but not necessarily.
For kited fights such as Gotoh Zha and Iron Giants where VE can deal large amounts of damage but *will* die in the process, it would help to have a petstat set. Granted, there aren't many situations like that unless you do a lot of lowman events with friends, but it probably won't be entirely worthless, either.
