There's a topic about the hardest boss you ever fought.. this one is about the boss battles you have most enjoyed..

Warning: Do not watch if you intend to play NieR.. Serious major spoilers.. you have been warned..

One of mine is surely the Shadowlord, NieR's "final" battle..

..which was pretty heartbreaking.. this whole game is heartbreaking actually..

I loved the fight against the Shadowlord, as well. In the same game, there's an equally as cool battle against a midgame boss, too, which I liked. (spoilers)





Also, in Shadow of the Colossus, also one of the most interesting/fun boss fights I've ever fought:

Twin sisters was fun and completely took me by surprise who they were.

Just goes to show you that some Japanese development companies still have the ability to break the generic mold in storytelling. I would like to see a Nier 2, I feel like the game's story could be expanded.

Another favorite Boss battle is the Final boss of Radiant Silvergun

Father fuckin' Balder.

It's the hardest boss in Bayonetta (he's not last boss, so no spoiler.) He has many tricky moves and won't allow me to trigger Witch Time (slow-motion power) after I dodged his attacks, but most of his attacks I failed dodging. It was really hard, but this battle and background was really crazy, man! After defeating this boss, the shit just... got REAL. Can't spoiler ya man.

But there are more hard bosses in Bayonetta and I really have enjoyed I tell ya.

And another hardest boss I just remembered:
GENERAL FUCKIN' RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
My friend and I had really hard times with killing that bastard on Intense mode. We died a lot of times and we finally blew him off! The cutsense was, uh, like "B-B-BAM! Finally, he died!" My friend and I went crazy and screamed, "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!" lol Good ol' memories. Seriously, we shot this thing many times like over 300 bullets and it was still alive. c.c
(Then, Gears of War 2's boss was really anti-climax. :/ Hope EPIC Co. is gonna make epic last boss like General Raam, or even better than him. The E3 demo was epic.)

I'll post more when I remember another hardest boss.
