I'm GLD rank 10 and decided to pick up LNC.. so I go get a rank 1 guildleve.. begin with guardian's favor to discover I get half the rank points I was getting on my GLD.. so how am I supposed to rank it up..? :s

Since your physical level is probably much higher, you need to kill harder mobs than you did when your gladiator was level 1. You can probably even do 10 leves on your level 2-3 lancer because they're easy anyway.

Yeah prolly same deal as how you can do guildleves at legion difficulty solo if ur physical level is high enough

depends on what ones. if you are talking about ones where you get 2k or 3k gil where you kill marmots, maybe.. big maybe.. but if you need to kill like 6 dodos then summon 2 more and you have 3 attacking you at one point.. yeah have to call bs on that.

your rank also as some effect on how much stats you get. when i was on beta i had like 70 vit but i stopped gaining hp azt around 45 vit on a rank 10 class

even on my first job i scaled them up

first run or 2 i did 1 star

then i did 2 star then 3.

when i went to different town to do the next 4 or w/e it is i just 5 stared them.

its up to you how you can gauge what to do because the leves are not the same difficulty. depends on mob and so on.

That's what I would recommend. With phys lvl high u can work your way up the difficulty of the lower level leves. Like rambus said though, I wouldn't recommend trying the higher rank leves until minimum rank requirement, due to multiple mobs smacking you at once. Eg. I can do legion difficulty on my pugilist right now of rank 1 leves but some of the rank ~10 leves r still too hard on solo.
