Removing these may alleviate some RMT inspiration but it devastates the gameplay for players and severely limits

some of the mystique and adventure to the longtime fans/players of FFXI that play FFXIV

21+ hour spawns were the most god awful concept and SE should have been smacked for it.

I pretty sure I remember hearing/reading somewhere that they were going to be adding NM's to open world to roam and stuff later on sometime after release. Tho they do plan on keeping HNM's levequest strictly tho, or something along those lines.

Again, I'm not saying this is definitive so don't be jumping all over me for saying this lol. but I could have sworn I read that in one of the early interviews.
