I'm comin back to FFXI finally, after having my original (and high powered) account hacked and stolen. So while I wait for the registration server to stop being busy (come on I wanna play already!!), I have a question or 2.

I know this might have been done to death, but I havent been able to find a solid answer. Is there an unofficial RP server? I know there was talk of one when I left the game, but did anything come of it?

Do you think that FFXI will be shut down in favor of Square focusing on FFXIV (which I have heard bad things about and can't even play).

I keep getting an error code when I try to finish up my registration, UCS-5004. Is this just me at this moment, or are others seeing this? It says the server is busy.. but I dunno.
