Since it uses Android software does not mean it is Verizon. If it is a Motorola Droid phone, yes it is exclusively for Verizon. Android if I recall is on Verizon, Sprint, and others also.

I don't know much about phones, just remembering what I see on the internet time to time. oo;

EDIT: Looking at this, it seems like it is a PSPGo with Android software. Nothing special to people who already own a PSP and a phone with Android software, but probably great to those who put emulators on their phone and don't like the touch screen features. I don't feel the need for one though, love my Droid X. :)

I have a Motorola Droid via Verizon, my cousin has the Evo from Sprint, but I'm not sure what other companies offer the Droid. But yeah, when I first saw this I thought that interface looked incredibly familiar. lol Don't need one of these if I already have a Droid, though.

It is just Sony's version.

Like Motorola has the Droid and Samsung has the Galaxy S or I think that is what it is called.

Verizon has the "Droid" line, so many consumers confused "android" in general, with verizon's "droid" line. It's a marketing technique that has worked very well for them.

However, every major U.S carrier, even many smaller carries, have android phones. In fact, T-Mobile had the first one, and Sprint has the strongest 2 phones on the market in terms of specs.

I'm really interested in the PSP Phone. Rumors are saying it's using a sony Ericson programmed architecture for its gaming platform, and sony ericson has had its hands in most carriers, back when feature phones were the king. If they pull this phone off well, i would probably buy it.
