I agree with this point. The easier games are the ones which get the most response from the player base only cuz they can achieve their goals much faster or without breaking a sweat.

Some things in games are better if harder. The challenge makes it fun. The reward makes it satisfying.

FFXI was hard (atleast in the earlier days). FFXIV is just ridiculous in the way it delivers a game content to the people.


Now, I want all the people to stop the criticism and the never ending repeated comments and try to post some information about the game so the people who are still playing the game can enjoy it better.

If you havent liked the game, I dont see a reason for you to be sticking to this game, unless u care about it and want to see it improved. Otherwise, just move to WoW or Aion and enjoy your time there.


Now that we got that out of the way.
Where do I find the food stats for FFXIV?! Ive searched so many sites, but none have it.

I think that's what has already happened. Many who don't like it quit for WoW while others are trying to make suggestions for improvement; however, too many here are getting defensive because they've found some kind of enjoyment out of it. I've yet to pick it up (waiting on PS3) and i'm not very impressed due to all the negative criticism from not only the playerbase (that matters) but game sites that say it's a gorgeous game but very incomplete.

wow spoonfeeds? do you even play ffxi anymore?

no wow is not easy compared to this shit.

FFXIV is easier then wow once you get the hang of it, all you do is do leves where you kill the mobs in 2 hits or they kill you in 2 hits so once you learn all the leves where you know witch you need more people for it is a breeze.

in wow you have to learn where to stand, your rotations and how to spec, there is more learning to do in wow then FFXIV but then again its a new game so you really can't compare. the only point im trying to make is no you do not get spoonfed there liek you do here in BOTH FF online games at the moment.

there is not enough in FFXIV yet to actually say you get spoonfed, it is ether obnoxiously easy, or obnoxiously hard, there is no middle ground and a game should not be like that ether.

for FFXIV, after learning everything there is no reward for it, i think it is stated like that ina few reviews with putting up with all the bugs and simple game underneath.
for FFXI the rewards are so obnoxiously powerful there is no point to do it in the first place. you can kill x mob without it or with it, there is no endgame anymore to even use the new shit. maybe that will change again who knows but right now FFXI has no point with all the obnoxiously powerful gear for the content.

Wow still has some structure, you need to fight a for b gear to take on c and so on.
with the newer content some steps are skipped so newer players can get to near end stages, no problem with that.

in FFXI its level off the same thing 30-85 you can level 30-85 nakked. once you do that you buy gear with points you got from leveling. greats you can do anything in FFXI now. then you get stronger gear to cream anything in FFXI.

in wow it be like being able to fight the last boss and backrack its stupid

i bet you only responded to me because i said WoW? and have you even played wow atm? and i left XI as a 70drg for wow when it was released which i left for xiv

They give free gear to ppl
They nerf encounters with enough QQ
level 80 can be attained in 3 days
anyone with a brain can learn their class in that time with the help of websites
"Quests" are just accept and complete
Only challenge to WoW is time
WoW is basicly a Facebook game as a MMO

you can level 30-85 in one day, after your done with that, get gear that is end game materal ( not the best of the best *in some cases*). the gear you get with those points stomps on a lot of old "endgame gear.A few jobs can only out mach it in mix sets like war/bst with bakko pants, dark for example cant agure that, the best haste set would revlove around the full set form abyssa unless your nit picking haste and a x hit set but it is not nessery to have.

when you say wow 1-80 in 3 days are you talking about reuqit a friend shit? you need to prep your self for more then 3 days to do that so im calling BS on that, even if it was true you would not have high end gear in 3 days like you can in FFXI.

I am not enjoying the game due to many reason, the game seems sorta slow, the quests seems to take a long part of my time, the constent running and seeing the SAME THING (enviroment) the WHOLE TIME, and then the multiple runing with mobs that hit you for 400 a hit. And don't get me started on the market wards, ok I will, the dumbass attempt to put an EQ style of a market ward is what monkeys genious idea, and not putting an auction house.

The game to me seems to be in Alpha still, it has a TON more patches to catch up to what people want, sorta like how WoW was and how FF11 was when it first came out, untill then I will classify the game as a [FAIL STAMP] untill they fix the issues.


BUT on a side note, DC Universe online is a damn hot game.
