No matter how much DEX you have it doesn't do shit for your Marauder or any other melee jobs... Is DEX broken? Is it still broken?

It doesn't affect much at lower level. Its like FFXI where it is still hard as hell to hit stuff till you are higher leveled and beefed up in DEX. Also counts in the crit factor I believe.

all stats are broken but vit from what i hear. int boosts cures a bit, people loaded int and petiy and didn't get good results from doing so (as far as nuking)

there is a cap vs your rank level for all the stats i think, you easily see it when you pu in vit or mnd and get no more mp or hp.

my lancer is 16 and i hit like 1 out of 3 ws, me soloing leves depend on getting lucky and all i do is boost dex str and vit, my mind , int and peity is my racial base.

All stats with the exception of VIT are currently pushed down by your Rank.
Your current stats will only truly apply to enemies that con as Blue or Green and some Yellow. Orange and above will crush your DEX.
To hit Orange and above you need a healthy balance of gear +Accuracy and maximum DEX for your Rank. How this is determined is beyond me.
All I can tell you is that I rarely if ever miss Blue/Green targets and Yellow I would say I have a 10% miss chance. Orange is around 20-30% and Red is an absurd 50%+
Just giving you rough figures, those numbers are estimates.
