This is the coolest thing I've seen all week. The gist of it is that you can locate any city that is on google maps and then simulate a nuclear device detonating at that point. You can toggle between the thermal and pressure blast ranges as well as adjust the wind direction to see where the fallout might hit.

In my town i'd fall in the second degree burn area for the Tsar bomb. Is that bomb even real?

Oh not just in america.. like anywhere would doom us all.. because the energy that the impact would generate would set the atmosphere on fire and burn everyone crispy like bacon.. it happened to the dinosaurs..
(Those poor creatures.. e.e)And then we'll end on blu-ray discs of the next dominant race.. e.e

If the wind were blowing my direction, I'd be receiving a good amount of the fallout if the Tsar Bomba detonated over Los Angeles. However, luckily (more or less), at 50 MT I would be just outside the blast radius. If the blast created a good sized crater, two cities near me would become beach cities. >.>;

Even the smallest nuke dropped in central Ohio would be enough to wipe me off the map. <.<

i feel slightly better knowing that if a bomb fell in my down-town it wouldn't kill me unless it's the tsar. Unless i'd be in school at the time. then well i dont know if the mountain would shield me.

The fallout would still extend for miles and the radiation level would be lethal or just enough to make people sterile, leucemic and with thyroid damage.. the worst is that it may protract for many years similarly to the effects of the Cernobyl disaster..

If the fallout doesn't kill you from exposure with in a few hours, you'll wish it had for the rest of your miserable and short life.
