Anyone play online?

I play off and on, just recently got back into it since I decided to wait out XIV's release on PS3.

If anyone has it add me on PSN:

edit: I just discovered Demon Souls as well if anyone would like to party up on that.

I haven't been on in a long time because the grind was becoming pretty ridiculous.
Maybe I'll get on some time PSN is GodHandZerk.

I played WKC... but never really got into the online aspects of it. It was fun at first, but kinda died on me. :/

I got into GR7 on WKC, level 45 but after awhile it just got mad boring. repeating the same thing over and over again sucks.

Plus I had to reformat my PS3 so I lost the file and I dont think I want to go do all that again.

WKC single player was alright as JRPG's go, but the online aspect could have been a little better. I got to GR6 or 7 before I pretty much burnt out on it and called it quits. I like the whole idea of it but it was badly done. They are making the second one last I herd, I haven't been following it, but I hope they revamp the online aspect of it and make it not so mundane.

WKC's Single Player was SUPER SHORT and rather hilariously ridiculous at times. But I would have to say, Good Job on the Voice Actors and Voice Acting. Normally, you'd see horrible dubs in international ports.

Online is pretty fun. Grinding is okay, it only takes a few hours per day once you get to the top guild ranks to rank up.

I was trying to get Platinum when I stopped playing cuz the temporary quests that had the items I needed ended, so I didn't want to try to do the normal crap quests to farm for the synthesis items heh

I'm currently GR12, Lv50 with my Skills set as a Mage. I finally got an HD Capture card, so I've been thinking of going back so I can Stream/Record some of my gameplays of WKC, so if you hit me up, I'll probably be up for some quests.

As for Demon's Souls, I reformated my PS3 at one point and my character data got deleted even though I took out my original hard drive and put in a new one <.< So I don't want to do all that work over again. I might eventually go back... maybe... maybe once people stop invading me XD

You know its strange, my Demons Souls data got lost as well when I upgraded my hard drive in my ps3 as well. I had the data backed up and everything, I had a 180lv character that got lost somewhere in the data transfer lol. I think that's just part of the hardcore aspect of demons souls. Even backing up your data wont save you from having to start over upon death (death being reformatting your HD) lol.

Anyway I started over and played during the Halloween event when they messed with the servers World Tendencies, was pretty fun. Got a 130lv character now, been trying to recreate Gatts, figured having him would fit in pretty well in the game with demon slayings and all. Pretty hard trying to go GS only though lol.

I'm pretty new on both games, but go ahead and add me on PSN. Probably can do some runs together eventually.

I've been following WKC 2 as well, it looks like they sped up the battle system as well as increased difficulty; something that I thought needed to be a lot less forgiving that WKC 1.

I really enjoyed WKC, but after i finished the main game it just seemed pointless to continue. I tried going online once and the guy that joined was an ass and didn't know what to do. I haven't touched it since...

The concept of WKC was nice, but it had a lack of influence to continue the game. Hopefully the second one will resolve this.

My PS3 died on my 6 weeks ago so like a lot of people here I lost all of my data. The game was incredibly fun (and frustrating) for me but it's crazy how much the game can cause you to grind levels before you realize it. I started on the 2nd playthrough until I realized the game was becoming monotonous to me and I was only lacking a few major items without the few souls you need multiple times for various items and spells. Anyway, I was probably in the mid 100s on my 2nd playthrough and just the thought of starting over and swinging my sword slow as hell at the beginning is keeping me from even entertaining the idea of starting a new character at this point.

Did your HDD completely fry? When that happened to me, I put the HDD into an external SATA port and converted all my data over. >_>

I stopped playing Demon Souls as soon as I get all the trophies b/c getting a Pure Blade stone, was sooooooooo hard and the drop rate for it was bad. When I finally got it, after 8million souls collected, I said I'm done when I finally got it. I was around SL 300

Yep I tried everything. My friend had an external port and it wouldn't read the HDD at all. So we took it one step further and took the HDD out of my roomate's PS3 and put mine in. Not only did it not read it but it wanted to reformat the drive. Believe me I wanted to do everything to save that drive because I had a lot of time heavy games saved on that damn drive (Demon Souls, GTA, Dead Space, SC4, MW2, Valkyria Chronicles, etc). Lesson learned, I now have a 1TB external HDD that I save all of my data to.

When you put in a different HDD from the original one, the PS3 is going to catch that and ask you to reformat.

I imaged my data from my 80gb HDD to a 500gb one, and it didn't ask me to reformat when I put in the new HDD, was like nothing ever happened.

I believe the new PS3 models will ask you to do a extra step when upgrading your HDD, while the older models do not. When I upgraded the slims HDD to a 600gig the first thing it asked me to do when I turned it on was to reformat it. When I upgraded the 60gig model it turned on just fine and all I needed to do was the data transfer.

At least that's how I remember it, it was a while ago lol.

For Demon Souls the servers will be pure white for the holidays until the new years.

So have at em!

Also, server support will continue until October 2011.
